Just a few notes to let you know what I am about-
I have been around for about 12 years and always willing to accept any assistance offered.
I am really here to make sure that the income is more than what we spend, and I have been able to this with some success, however, it remains a struggle and I will always accept any help.
We have been able to accumulate a back-stop with reserve funds in the event that things go pear shaped.
The cost of running the Sub-Branch is around $120,000 per annum, which we can cover around $110,000, so in recent times we have had a shortfall due to a reduction in funding from DVA.
The Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA) have been able to help via the BEST Grant applications, however, the Grants only cover about 40% of our normal operating costs with the balance covered by fund raising and donations.
